Purchase the following:

1.) OCN5 (M) + Bluetooth GPS [Purchase South Eastern USA]
2.) Then upgrade to the the Eastern USA using clevermap <http://www.oncoursenavigator.com/item.aspx?itemid=8008>

Is this going to be the best option. And can anyone confirm the price of the upgrade, is it really $69.95 more???
Personally, I would spend the extra $40 ($240 versus $200) and get the L package and forget about the one region M plus the major region which will set you back another $70 (thus a total of $30 more than L option).

This way, you get ALL the US, so if you travel anywhere in the US you can use your software. The maps overlap, so it is easy enough to fit two regions on a 512mb card and simply change the map while in an overlapping state.

Of course, if you NEVER need aany other part of the US and strongly desire the seamless routing in your region, than the major regional would be the way to go for you. Rally, it's all about personal preference. It may seem confusing the way OCN is offering the different options, but if they did it the other way, than everyone would complain about LACK of options!
