Thanks for the explanation, new2axim. Your explanation makes perfect sense to me; I just didn't know that you could take a cable made for video to use for audio. I had always assumed the color coding (e.g., yellow, white, red) really indicated differences in pins configuration, etc. Shows how much I really know about A/V stuff... :hide:
