I had always assumed the color coding (e.g., yellow, white, red) really indicated differences in pins configuration, etc. Shows how much I really know about A/V stuff... :hide:

Ahhh.... gotcha. Now I understand. No, each of those RCA cables is exactly the same. You can use the yellow "video" cable for audio or vise versa. And that's why the prices of these audio cables bugs me. They're really basic two or three wire pieces. I'm horrible at soldering but even I can put together an RCA or 3.5mm mini plug. They're very very simple items.
