I've just downloaded from a newsgroup an episode of 24 in avi format for my pocketpc but its made up of all these files

the hand struck eight on the 4th clock.avi.000
the hand struck eight on the 4th clock.avi.001
the hand struck eight on the 4th clock.avi.002
.004
etc....
What do i use to make 1 avi file rather than all these ?
I tried renaming the extension to .rar but that never worked, any suggestions, because in the file properties it says unknown file format !
