iGuidance in True VGA mode

Hello. I purchased iGuidance 2.l.2 a few days ago, and run it in True VGA mode on a Dell X50v. I am surprised (after reading forum postings to the contrary) that it seems to have trouble in True VGA mode, including:

* In "Guidance mode" (the display mode that it switches to during the last 1000 ft before a turn), the bottom half of the map is totally blacked out.
* The 3D modes do not work. They look somewhat 3D, but the position is wrong - drifting off the road to one side or the other by hundreds of feet. I know this is not a GPS error because 2D mode looks fine.
* All the menu and option screens are crammed into the upper left 1/4 of the screen.
* Buttons and current speed indicator are too small.

Is anyone else having success running iGuidance in true VGA mode?
