Just thinking out loud perhaps, but is it REALLY conceivable that someone would take an application like Mastersoft's SuDoKu, reverse engineer it to make it an otherwise working application that will sometimes spontaneously hard reset the device?

I could understand if a company was to hack their own software with such code and spread it around the file sharing circles as a "poison" but for the life of me I can't understand why someone would go to all the trouble of the described situation. Especially even taking the trouble to apply the same hack to all the different versions. And not only that, but this cross-platform virus can infect other downloaded versions even from legitimate sites.

Or am I misreading something here?
