There are other approaches already that will try to ensure that P2P users trying to download copyright material get garbage. I'm sure that this one would work too :) Make a bad copy of the software and spread it over P2P networks.
Anyway, not an accusation and I'm glad you didn't take it that way.

The thing is why infect genuine copies using a dodgy one ? You'd want them to be able to buy the real copy. Sometimes I wonder why we bother. As for accusations, well if we did do it we wouldn't admit to it would we ? That just makes it worse. No win situation. We didn't do it, but then we are bound to say that :realmad:
