Well, I'm not sure. All the work I've done with ripped DVDs to this point has been with VOBs produced by DVD-Decrypter. I'm just nervous that if I switch over to ripping everything to ISOs and delete my old VOBs a tool will come along requiring VOBs and I'll have to re-rip them all.
I don't want to have to store both ISOs and VOBs on my machine. My 450GB hard-drive goes a long way, but not that far... It seams there must be a way to extract the VOBs from an ISO without having to burn the ISO back to disk. Does windows allow me to mount a DVD ISO as a virtual device? And if so, would DVD-Decrypter allow me to rip VOBs from that virtual DVD drive?
