Sounds like you have the settings of activesync to change items that are different on your PC from your AX.

If you make on change on your ax (let's say you change a phone number in CONTACTS), then when you sync and AS notices a difference, it changes the item on your PC. When you change an item on your PC, then you sync with AS, it will only make changes to your PC because of the selection you made in AS OPTONS screen. To check your current settings:

Open AS on your PC and click the OPTIONS tab.

Click the RULES tab

Make the change under CONFLICT RESOLUTION at the top.
