Hi all,
After 2 weeks of fussing
with my Linksys WCF12 Wireless CF card, I still cannot get it to work.
Here's the story:
Got one for Christmas, installed it and it worked for about a week or so. All of a sudden, out of the blue, it stops working and everytime I insert the card, it pops up the "Unrecognized Card" box and asks for the driver location.
I've tried it all (well, I think so). Soft Resets, Hard Resets, reinstallations, etc... Linksys was supposed to have a level 2 tech call me back about this issue and its now been 4 days. I called again yesterday and they said they would have some one call. Yeah right... ;)
BTW, the driver on the CD seems to at least work 1 out of every 25 times I insert the card, but the latest driver on the Linksys site does not work at all.
What do you guys think, bad card? Wierd drivers? Someone out there must be having similar issues?
