For 99.9% of the movies you will do the answer is NO.

If you do have to use DVD Decrypter for the 0.1% you can delete the files after. Why you would want to store them I don't understand.

For FairUse you put the DVD in your drive, run the program, and enjoy your .avi file when it is done. That's it. Don't try and over think it to much.
