Well, first off it is NOT illegal to do provided you own the DVD your are trying to copy/convert. It would be illegal to go to Blockbuster, rent a movie, copy/convert/rip it, and then retun it.

Anyway, I have never used DVD to PPC so I can't help much there. I (like many others) prefer the free FairUse method. If you care to try it the links to everything you need are in my sig.
