I like iTunes, but "as is" you are kind of limited to what you can do with your music. I figure if I pay for it then I should be able to put it on my Axim or what ever else I would like to do. The iTunes DRM makes that harder then it should be.
So you can either do the CD burning trick but, unless you really want them on CDs it is kind of a waste. OR you can use Hymn to convert them. Fast, easy, free. My favorite things.... After that, I can play them in WMP or TCPMP on my Axim, I can load them on my Rio, I can play them in WMP10 on my desktop, I can use them as background music on my home made photo CDs, ect. All the things I should be able to do with music I paid for.

I know - I think that's the confusion. There WAS no issue playing AAC files on the PPC using TCPMP, but now it appears that there is. This is a totally separate issue from Fairplay DRM.
I don't think this is a DRM issue, I think it's just a generic AAC support issue.
