BT cell phone, T-Mobile

First I wanted to thank everyone on this forum because I have been extremely confused about the pda world, but this forum certainly clears a lot of things up.

Second, I currently have a normal cell phone plan through verizon wireless, but I need an internet/ email capabe device for work. I really want an axim x50v b/c I believe it is so much more capable than a pda phone like a treo plus the larger viewing area is nice.

Here is my question. Since I already have a cell phone for the phone part, can I go to t mobile get a blue tooth cell phone and the unlimited data plan and use that phone as my modem for the axim or do i also have to have the voice plan? Also, t-mobile offers two internet options, the t-zones via a grps connections (5.99 a month) vs. the wireless internet ( i believe GSM connection) for 29.99 a month. What is the difference and which would I need to connect via bluetooth?

Also, since this will be my second phone i want to be able to just bury it in my computer bag and not worry about it, can i do that or will i need to actually hit OK on it and to connect and such. I think it would be a pain to carry two cell phones in my pocket plus a pda.

sorry about the long post, thanks again
