Something I didn't know until I was at a Microsoft Technet day on Friday, WM5 supports image update - A kind of windows update for PDAs, so patches can be applied rather than needing a complete ROM image. updates will still have to come from DELL, but Microsoft are looking at the possiblility of updating "their code" whilst suppliers can patch their drivers etc.
Possibly a great benefit, possibly a nightmare in the making
