it took a long time before I switched from wmv to DivX but there is no turning back.
to convert films into DivX you can use the free software auto gk (google it)
it performs the same function as pocket dvd studio.
if you want to compress it some more you can use the excellent and also free pocket divx encoder program (look for the link on the tcpmp web site)
DivX films in tcpmp are a million times better then wmv on any player
