Were you able to resolve this? Same thing happened to me this weekend. I called Dell Tech Support and was told to plug the A/C Adapter in and then attempt to turn on the Axim. If that didn't work then remove the batteries (both of them) and try plugging the Axim in to the A/C Adapter. Fortunately, it came back to the life without removing both batteries. But the tech did mention to me that there was a hardware flaw that caused this. After we hung up and I got thinking about it I've tried 3 times since to get back in touch with a tech that knows of the issue my tech described. No luck yet, but the original tech has a note to call me back. If this is a hardware issue that Dell knows about then it's covered under warranty. I'll post what I found out here.
