Hulk smash Axim wireless
Hi folks,
I just bought an Axim X50v and love it. However, the wireless settings functionality of WM2003SE is absolutely deplorable. It is extremely and horribly designed (wtf Work and The Internet?). Worse, the provided Dell documentation is poor in this area, as well. I have read wifi.aximsite.com, but it doesnt seem to pertain to this, much.
Can someone recommend a replacement program that will allow me to easily take my PDA around and connect to various wi-fi networks (Open/WEP/LEAP)?
I want something that will allow me to just select a wi-fi network, punch in a key if needed, and let me use PIE/Remote Desktop/Putty/etc without the stupid "cannot connect. you haven't configured a proxy server" message popping up all the time.
Will Odyssey Client do this? (I've been having mixed results with it). Is there another piece of software thats better?
Despite all these complaints about the wireless software, the PDA otherwise rocks!
