Can someone recommend a replacement program that will allow me to easily take my PDA around and connect to various wi-fi networks (Open/WEP/LEAP)?

I want something that will allow me to just select a wi-fi network, punch in a key if needed, and let me use PIE/Remote Desktop/Putty/etc without the stupid "cannot connect. you haven't configured a proxy server" message popping up all the time.

Will Odyssey Client do this? (I've been having mixed results with it). Is there another piece of software thats better?

Despite all these complaints about the wireless software, the PDA otherwise rocks!
replacement for wep, id say look into vpn or any tunneling apllication.

pocket putty can do some of those, specialy usefull fer a secure smtp/pop...

cant say i evr used odyssey, im using minithumbler and wififofum (may or may not werk fer x50)

sorry i cant paint a better picture...

like most of us , youll have to go out of your way to make

these things happen (working). trial and errors my friend...

and as far dell is concerned they only provide minimal supports

and yet their quartely earnning are out of this werld...

and tread lightly about the wifi tut's , as is , its the best
