First question do you have a wireless network at home?
If so does your PDA connect easily and webpages should be fast loading!
The Built in wireless should connect anywhere there is a wireless signal, although some netwworks are password protected, those you would need the password, but the open ones you should be able to connect quite easily when the message bubble pops up and asks you do you want to connect to so and so's wireless.
Disable Power save located at start|settings|connections|Dell wlan utility|...choose disable in powersave, not auto ...also remove check mark below that where it says disable wlan to conserve power when battery is low.
Click the Setting button to the left of that, and choose Internet or work(network) in drop down menu and choose Dell Axim x50 wlan wireless adaptor:approve:
BTW make sure your wireless is turned on!:approve:
