Here's another answer.
ARM = Every Pocket PC made since 2002
MIPS = Early Casio PPCs and some Handheld PCs
SH3 = pre-2002 HP Jornadas
StrongARM = Same as ARM
XScale = Same as ARM
They all describe the programs written for processor types. Back in 2002 MS decreed that in order to be called a PPC all new device must use ARM compatible processors.
