Well, I don't always look at as a price thing or this against that. It depends on your comfort level with the device and sole purpose of it. Heavy graphic and photo users may do mac for some of its benefits over what a windows machine is. (Program compatibility) If, I was solely a palm person and it offered all that I was looking for and met my needs and took care of my business then there is no need for a ppc. Some people would pay the extra money to make sure they have the comfort of not having to learn something new or have the new item not work with their current setup. There are tons of different perspectives and I am not trying to stick up for one side or the other. I know this can turn into a flame post and I hope it doesn't. I just know that people can justify both sides. As long as it takes care of what they are looking for then they probably wouldn't mind the more expensive price.
I know I would never have a palm over a ppc. I have left palm for good. hehe There is no way I would go back to something that is so limited myself.
