Having an exe file means that you can restore from your Axim without connecting to your PC (assuming you save the exe file to a memory card in your PPC of course!). If your Axim crashes when away from your office then you can restore and be going again in a couple of minutes. I'm off to Brazil tomorrow for a few days - any problem with the Axim and I'll restore from the last exe file (I set it to auto-backup every night at 3am - another benefit of Sprite).

Also, Sprite does lets you selectively restore just about anything. You don't have to completely restore if you accidentally delete a file / mess with a setting.
