*Sigh* Elite is in a great state - one developer is like "OMFG NO RELEASE OF ELITE!" and the other hosts versions for many platforms on his website :)
I remember trying to find Elite for the PalmOS. 'Twas a fun search, ending after several weeks at a russian warez site ...
You can still play Elite on your PPC, though. Pick a PPC DOS emu of your choice (PocketDOS, pDOSBox, et. al.), then go to
http://www.iancgbell.clara.net/elite/ - the website of the friendly developer - and download Elite from there. Convoluted, but it works!
Now, if only the PPC native version would be released ...
