I very much appreciate your opinion that other programs are easier to use than FeederReader. I am open to discuss this! (probably better done at the FeederReader Forums).

There are some people that agree with your view, but there are also those that appreciate the flexibility of FeederReader.

There are a few things that FeederReader does that makes it flexible.

Expert/Basic mode.
One-tap file management-don't have to keep track of what you've listened to.
Download, Read, Listen all at the same time.
Optimized download of enclosures when storage is full.

FeederReader certainly does not limit you on what you can do at any one time. Start downloading, then read new feeds as they come it? Yep. Read the latest news, then start the next podcast without losing your reading place? Yep. Review error messages from the Feed update? Yep. Change download preferences for each category? Yep. Ignore the error messages from feed updates while reading already downloaded feeds? Yep. Handle any type of enclosure that you can use on your Pocket PC (PDF, video, Pocket Word/Excel, Mindmap, ANYTHING)? Yep.

If you always download all your podcasts and videocasts, and always listen to all podcasts prior to downloading. And then initiate downloading then wait for it to complete, you may find other programs easier.

Again, I'd love to hear your view on this or any other FeederReader impressions. Any specific suggestions to make FeederReader easier while retaining the flexibility would be appreciated. It helps me make FeederReader better!

Thanks!
