What's your backup strategy?

I just lost everything even though I have Sprite. That's b/c my sd card data became unrecognizable. All my programs, data and sprite backups were on it. I was able to reformat and reload everything, which has taken up the entire weekend. I must now make a new backup strategy b/c I don't want to go thru this again.

What is your backup strategy?

I'm going to look into storing a copy of my backup on the internet so if I'm out of town and my sd card goes bad maybe I can get the info back. How would yo do this?

I'm going to store backups on my sd card and desktop as well. I won't put them in bis b/c they are too large. How would you do this?

What are your sprite settings? Mine are similar to MrK's. I don't backup persistant storage (BIS and sd card) b/c you won't lose them in a hard reset. However, a periodic backup of those would be a great idea. I backup once per week, I think MrK backs up every day. Is there a disadvantage to backing up every day?
