GPS 10 Deluxe users...questions

I have my GPS 10 Deluxe up and running again

Several issues I have noticed

1. Is there a volume adjustment within Ique software..I can not find one so far...seems only way to adjust volume is via Axim speaker vol. control
Iguidance and other gps software have a program setting to make adjustments...Unless I "crank volume it is very low", with Iguidance setup I set it to notch just above lowest and it worked great
Seems GPS 10 may require external speaker/powered mount..ugh!

2. when following voice navigation and routes, after making a turn the screen redraw is slow and the map is blank green then the map is redrawn...lag seems "pretty long"..X50v is set to auto and speed was reported as 624mhz. This I never saw with Iguidance 2.1.2

when navigating the map does not ever seem to have redraw lag

3. keyboard is linked to X50v input...Iguidance and OCN have there own keyboard. Size is better on there keyboard buttons..almost big enough to use your fingers

as for routing..it rerouted quickly(slight slower than Iguidance...but nothing excessive)...same route Iguidance would ask me to make Uturns(even with this turned off in Iguidance)...Ique never asked to make a Uturn...rerouted perfectly and started with better initially routing than Iguidance

SO far after testing one route ...this look good with a few idiosyncracies to get used too...ie keyboard and volume...I am guessing I will need to max volume on the X50v when I turn on (its loud enough I think this way )....

I still find certain the reported street numbers and upcoming street to be worth these issues so far with limited testing

GPS10 receiver ...not as sensitive as BT 338 but it locked on sats faster in my area than the BT 338...I need ot leave the GPS10 on my dash, BT 38 could keep a fix in a map pocket on my drivers door

GPS10 will often report 7-9 sat lock....has not dropped a fix in areas with alot of trees..
