Technically, gps 10 does run on Ique and other software+ map as well. Co-existence (with other software) is already a big big step by Garmin. You are right. Non-Garmin hardware cannot run on their software. The know or they think they know what they are doing. They still have a dominance in gps. I was not surprised that Garmin is prominent in the newsgroup, alt.satellite.gps. But its presence is still quite a bit in this exclusively ppc forum. Their market share is huge but declining particulary in view of huge array of new gps/phones and ppc/gps .
