I pretty much understand the pros (better office support) and cons (incompatibility with most wm03se software) of upgrading to it, but my question is it hardware limited ? I mean why there isn't an upgrade for like x30 which practically have the same hardware as x50v (just different screen vga vs qvga)

I thought since WM 05 have non volatile storage, the hardware will be designed differently ?
