Why does pocketstreamer (GREAT program) only work after I adjust it myself then? If I just run pocketstreamer without fooling with the memory the axim twigs out and freezes.
If I move the slider it works okay....

What other programs have you run before starting pocketstreamer?
Have you tried a soft reset before trying to run it? Most programs will just disappear into the background when you hit the "X" and not release memory.
And as for the slider, don't know why it's there, after 2 X5s and a X50v, all I can say is that adjusting the memory manually has had no impact on performance, and even if I move the slider to a 50/50 split, it moves as I open and close programs.
