If you're only going to be doing this once in awhile, you could export your PowerPoint file into graphics files (1 per slide) and use a freeware photo viewer to go through them in a slideshow.

You can use Xnview to advance through them. It is VERY similar to Resco Photo Viewer (even does screen captures), but the GUI isn't as polished.
