You don't need to add a program to slow down the AXIM. If you go to Settings/Power/Processor you can change the setting from "Auto" to "PowerSave" and the 400 Mhz AXIM slows down to 200 Mhz.
Myself I just leave it in Auto and let it handle the speed needed.
There are so many cool features, programs, and adjustments already in the AXIM that you don't really need to add very many utilites or other programs to get full use of the PDA.
