If you've been around the pocketPC ranks a while you may Remember the Toshiba e740 devices. This was a nice device, I had one, very popular.
Toshiba made the tactical mistake of not offering an upgrade to Windows Mobile for this device. The backlash from returned devices and bad reviews caused Toshiba to exit the PDA business here in the USA.
So I think Dell has incentive to do this upgrade right, and in a timely manner. My X50v is my 2nd Dell device. If my experience remains positive, there will be another Dell device. If not .. Well I vote with my wallet.
