You right, if you search there is a ton of info in this very topic. Many of them written by me. :) So I will give you the short version now.
For file size I would use a rule of thumb of 100MB for every 30Min of video. You can also change the sound to 96Kb/s and not notice a difference. This will leave more space for your movie.
For resolution output I strongly recomend you use what the program recomends to use. This has very little to do with "filling your screen". This recomended resoultion is based on the file size you have, not the screen size of your device. Again, do a search and you should find plenty of examples and screen shots posted. (again most by me)
As for the other settings, follow the walkthrough in my sig. 98% of what you need is there. The rest is posted all over AximSite.
