Okay so I am almost done this birthday present... here are my 18 reasons why my best friend IS my best friend.

You are there for me
when I need you.

You are there for me
when I do not want
anyone.

You make me laugh.

You make me cry.

You are there for me
even when everybody
else has walked out.

Even if you do not agree,
you are always supportive.

You are understanding &
compassionate.

You make the bad times
seem not so bad & the
good times even better.

You know all about me
& are still my friend!

You tell me what you think,
without sugarcoating anything.

You are not afraid to stand up
& tell me I am wrong.

You stick up for me, even if
I am not present.

I am never afraid to tell you
something & have you judge me.

You make a superb listener,
& an even better adviser!

You consistently show you
are trustworthy & loyal.

I feel important for who I
am because I am important
to you.

You have drastically
improved my life & given it
more worth.

You are a lifesaver.




I would like to improve on some, or switch some out on others. I certainly have more than 18 reasons... just at a mind block.

So, any input? What makes a best friend to you? I'd like to finish this present up ASAP :)
