First of all, I'm completely new to PDAs. :)

I'm thinking of getting Axim X51v primarily for using it as a serial console to servers and switches and routers and so on.. I did a bit of googling and found out that I can get a serial cable adapter from SerialIO.com and as terminal emulator I could use vxHpc.

Does anyone have any experience with this combination? Do you have any other suggestions, like another terminal emulator or serial cable adapter? I dont feel like dumping $500+ to these to just find out it wont work as a serial console!
