I'm sure that you will get a lot of opinions based on the type of software
you are installing. I tend to put as much as possible on the SD card
but of course its not available if you use another card.

Possible today plugins are better in the Built In Storage (BIS) if you
can, this free's up main memory for running applications.

There are also some guides on the web to help you with this.
