Yep you could share the files.
Most likely it won't be fast enough. It depends on the bit rate of the file you're trying to open though. A 700MB file that is only 20 minutes long will have a much higher bit rate than a 700MB file that is 3 hours long. So it's the bit rate, not the file size. Either way, BT is not ideal.
