I would advise against that. The dell drivers are usually the most up to date drivers available, and have been designed to work with your laptop. The intel drivers are generic. Even though the dates on the Dell drivers are usually wrong, the versions on the site are newer than the ones on your system. Using the generic drivers from the manufacturer, made more problems than solutions on my old Dell laptop. But with AS 4.0 my Latitude D600 works great.
