I'm not sure where to change the setting, but if you can direct these to the card, then the card should work. Almost everything I have is on my SD card, and very little is in memory. I just haven't taken the time to do what you are wanting to accomplish and not sure I would want to. You need to be aware that you can't sync from a memory card, you can only backup.
