I use BatteryTime, NOT BatteryTimePlus (install in default area, RAM and then soft reset) It shows the Battery % and the time from last charge on your TODAY screen. You can reset the time whenever you want, it doesn't reset when you charge using USB though, you have to reset manually for that. But if you don't recharge using USB anyway, it doesn't matter:

Also it gives you access to stuff like screen brightness on your TODAY screen, w/o having to find it in your settings.
