VITO Voice2Go to rival Microsoft Voice Command after a month on the market!
VITO Voice2Go has been only one month on the market and has already become not only one of the best-sellers but also a real rival of such giant as Microsoft Voice Command.
Both Microsoft Voice Command and
VITO Voice2Go have common functions and strive to simplify managing Pocket PCs hands-free. With any of these programs users can call up their contacts, start applications, i.e. control their Pocket PC without using stylus and buttons. All they need is simply to say a command and let VITO Voice2Go or Microsoft Voice Command work for them.
This basic functionality can still be extended in case of
VITO Voice2Go. This application gives you some more functions not supported in Microsoft Voice Command. First of all it works with complex macros that you can assign to a single voice command. It means you don't need to go over with all the tedious stylus tapping every time you want to open your favorite web site for example. Another thing Voice2Go has to offer you is to tell you who is calling. To enable this option you need to record a voice command. In fact, you will need to do it for every command you are going to use. And here we come to the third advantage of Voice2Go over Voice Command.
VITO works with any language whereas in Voice Command you can give commands only in English given you have native pronunciation. It means with Voice2Go you have greater freedom and wider choice.
Some take it as a disadvantage that you need to create a record for every command you want to perform in
VITO Voice2Go. Actually in Voice Command the problem remains as you still need to find and read all the command you will use, which takes some time, right? Then you can never be sure that a next new program you are going to install on your Pocket PC will be recognized by Voice Command. Voice2Go stores carefully all the commands you have taught it.
