Honestly, I don't know. For what you want to do I'd go for the 300 and use the extra money for more RAM if you need it later on. You can get a 128MB SD or CF card for less than $100.00. If you were wanting to play videos and games, I'd go with the 400... (I got the 400, but a friend got a 300 and loves it.)
