Help! I'm computer-illiterate & this is probably operator error.
I just got my Axim and a SanDisk 256MB SD card. No problems getting set up & using ActiveSync. I installed several programs to the Main Memory of the Axim & one game to the SD card without difficulty. Then I made what was probably my fatal error...I did a hard reset & now I'm in deep trouble.
After the hard reset, I am able to ActiveSync without difficulty. But when downloading some games from the internet I can't install them on the SD card. When I get to "Select destination media" I use the drop down to find "SD card" but then it shows "space available: <unavailable>
On the Axim I can click on "SETTINGS-SYSTEM-MEMORY-STORAGE CARD-SD CARD" and it tells me the following:
total storage card memory: 241.10 MB
in use: 0.00 MB
Free: 241.10 MB
So why is the SD card in the slot & recognized by the Axim but not available when I try to put things there????
