I have seen all the negatives and I want to just add a positivwe.

I upgraded my Axim last night with no problems at all. My GPS software loaded fine (going to field test it today) and everything seems quicker. Programs start right away and video runs butter smooth.

Before the upgrade I had some kind of memory leak somewhere (even with a clean install). After a couple hours it would just run out of memory especially if I had 2 or 3 programs running. The GPS will be the acid test today. If I went on a 30 mile route it would run out of memory after about 20 miles. But it seems like it runs much better now. Probably because of the way it uses BIS now.

I'm not sure if this made a difference in my smooth install vs. other peoples problems but after backing up what I wanted to keep I removed my SD card and did a hard reset so the upgrade would go on a clean system.

I will post this afternoon after I use the GPS all day and let you know how it went.
