Don't use any. The 26" LCD/TV/Monitor looks great.
Don't even use wallpaper. Why bother, I'm always
in a program or two or three, sometimes more.
LCD's do generate more heat than CRT's.
I turn power off to the monitor if I will be gone
for a few hours or more.
Power, never change power settings. No hibernate.
No powersave. Nada, zip, nothing.
'Course we're talkin' desktops.
Axim, no screen saver. Few themes and a few animated
themes too.
