Yea, even on Expert its a cakewalk. My strategy is simple: land rush. I grab planets as fast as I can and resources build up quickly. I devote little to research. Then I attack and can overwhelm everyone with sheer numbers. Its boring after a while, but the AI can't stop it.
Still nothing on the patch. On to other games....
