As others have already replied, this is normal and has been discussed in other threads. Heres a quote that I thought explained it quite well from
mobiletechreview:
"Windows Mobile 5.0 caches operating system files heavily to improve performance, and uses a significant portion of available RAM. At boot, 49.47 megs of RAM are shown as available, and another 19 megs of that available memory are used by the OS. That means you'll have about 30 megs out of 64 available to run programs. That's certainly adequate even for power users, but it's surprising how much of that 64 megs is used by the device."
I don't have the 51 to compare like for like installs, but my x50v has minimal ram used for storage. (just some .dll, email, skype settings and voicemail, and synced docs c.6MB) With Wisbar2 +WADesktop, The new pocketbreeze 5 demo, skype, Mail and MultiIE on aximsite all running, I still have just over 31MB free.
If anyone wanted to try a like for like test. Perhaps, hard reset, MultiIE - open multiple pages or something, I may have time over the weekend.
