Boy, this is scarey! I just got the Windows Mobile 5.0 Disc from Dell that I was going to load onto my X50V, but after reading the ActiveSync 4.0 USB Connection Troubleshooting Guide on the Windows Mobile website, reading Chris de Herrera's website re the detailed steps for installation, and now reading all the stuff that you guys have written, I think I will stay 2003 SE. If even the guys who have new X50V's with the Mobile 5.0 already loaded on it are having problems, I hate to think what will happen to my X50V when I try to download Mobile 5.0. Everything for me is finally working 100% on my X50V, and I am really pleased with its operation. Why mess with Mother Nature! Let's see what happens down the line about the way they hopefully get the bugs out of the software.
