Chex Quest was developed by an ex-company known as Digital Cafe. One of the two founders, Mike Koenigs, has a new company website that has a page regarding Digital Cafe and Chex Quest. Here is the link:

On that page, you can find a link to a "Contact Mike" form. If you wish to distribute this game in any way, I would suggest contacting Mike Koenigs and see if he agrees to this. Even though the company isn't around anymore, the copyright still holds on the game. Never hurts to ask.
p.s. I just noticed that on the contact form, there is also an 800-number that you can use to reach Mike.
